The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has stepped in to ensure the domestic cricket season in Arunachal Pradesh proceeds as planned, following earlier uncertainties about the tournament's viability.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that it will take over the management of Arunachal Pradesh’s domestic cricket season to keep the tournament on track.
Earlier reports suggested that logistical and financial challenges could threaten the completion of the season. In response, the BCCI has pledged to provide the necessary support, ensuring that matches are played and teams can compete without interruption.
The decision comes after consultations with state cricket officials, who expressed concerns over venue readiness and player accommodations. By stepping in, the BCCI aims to maintain the integrity of the domestic calendar and give Arunachal’s cricketers a stable platform.
While details of the specific measures remain under discussion, the Board’s involvement signals its commitment to expanding cricket’s reach across all Indian states.
The intervention is expected to secure the season’s fixtures and provide a clear pathway for players to showcase their talent at the national level.
