The Nigrani Anveshan Bureau (NAB) conducted a raid in Banka district on Tuesday, detaining Amit Pratap Singh, the Block Development Officer (BDO) responsible for the Fullidumar panchayat. Officials allege that Singh accepted a cash bribe of ₹75,000 in exchange for facilitating unauthorized approvals.
During the same operation, Singh's maternal uncle was also placed under custody, although the bureau has not disclosed his alleged role.
