Bangalore Traffic Police Unveil Special Road Safety Map for Diwali Market Areas
Ahead of Diwali, Bangalore traffic police have released a dedicated map and safety guidelines to ensure smooth traffic flow and pedestrian protection in market zones.
The Bangalore Traffic Police have prepared a special road‑safety map and a set of security regulations to manage traffic in market areas during the upcoming Diwali celebrations. The initiative aims to facilitate the smooth movement of vehicles and enhance safety for pedestrians who frequent these commercial zones.
The measures include clearly marked routes, temporary traffic diversions, and increased police presence at key intersections. Pedestrian crossings will be highlighted, and speed limits are being strictly enforced to reduce the risk of accidents.
Officials have urged commuters and shoppers to follow the designated pathways and cooperate with traffic personnel. The police department will monitor compliance throughout the festival period to maintain order and prevent congestion.
The plan reflects the city's proactive approach to handling the surge in footfall and vehicular activity that typically accompanies the Diwali season, ensuring that both residents and visitors can celebrate safely.
