A trader in Balaghat was cheated of 35 lakh rupees in an online scam. The scammer posed as a foreign businessman and lured the trader into a fake deal.
The trader was approached by a scammer who claimed to be a foreign businessman. The scammer sent a sample of a product on WhatsApp and promised to deliver a different product to the trader's warehouse. The trader was asked to pay 35 lakh rupees for the deal, which turned out to be a scam. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The scammer used a fake identity and posed as a foreign businessman to gain the trader's trust.
