The Madhya Pradesh government has appointed pediatric specialist Dr. Shatrughna Singh Dahiya as the new Chief Medical Health Officer of Balaghat to strengthen the district's health services.
The state health department announced that Dr. Shatrughna Singh Dahiya, a pediatrician currently posted at Jabalpur District Hospital, will assume the role of Chief Medical Health Officer (CMHO) for Balaghat district. In his new capacity, Dr. Dahiya will oversee primary health centres, sub‑district hospitals and other medical facilities in Balaghat, coordinating preventive and curative care for children and the general population.
