Yoga guru Baba Ramdev inaugurated a Gurukul hostel aimed at integrating formal education with yoga practice.
Baba Ramdev inaugurated a newly built Gurukul hostel that aims to combine conventional schooling with regular yoga practice. The ceremony, attended by local educators and volunteers, highlighted the guru’s long‑standing emphasis on holistic development.
The hostel is designed to provide residential facilities for students while integrating daily yoga sessions into the curriculum. Organisers say the model seeks to nurture physical well‑being alongside academic learning, reflecting Ramdev’s belief that yoga enhances concentration and discipline.
Ramdev expressed hope that the Gurukul will serve as a replicable template for other regions, encouraging a balanced approach to education that includes spiritual and health components.
