By its tenth day, Emraan Hashmi’s crime thriller Awarapan 2 has earned nearly ₹140 crore net at the domestic box office, according to The Times of India.
Awarapan 2, the 2023 sequel to the 2004 hit Awarapan, has crossed the ₹140‑crore mark in India by its tenth day of release, The Times of India reported.
The film opened on 19 September 2023 and has shown steady growth, with a net take of ₹90 crore in the first week and an additional ₹50 crore over the next three days.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan and starring Emraan Hashmi, Pooja Hegde, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the crime thriller follows a corrupt cop’s descent into moral ambiguity.
With the domestic run still in progress and overseas markets yet to open, industry analysts predict a final net collection that could surpass ₹150 crore, solidifying the film’s status as a commercial success.
