The Asian Premier League (APL) announced its upcoming season, marking the competition's return after a hiatus. Organisers said the league will showcase a roster that includes several high‑profile athletes who have excelled at the Asian Games and the Olympic Games.
By bringing together Asian Games champions and Olympic medalists, the APL aims to raise the standard of competition and draw wider viewership across the continent. The presence of these elite performers is expected to provide a platform for emerging talent to compete alongside seasoned stars.
