ASI Commits Suicide Inside Tarn Taran Police Post Using Service Weapon

An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) identified as Amarjit Singh, who was the in-charge of the Kairon police post, died by suicide on Friday. The incident took place inside the premises of the police post, which falls under the City Patti police station in Tarn Taran.

Reports indicate that the ASI used his service weapon to shoot himself in the head. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
