Ashoka Buildcon has won a ₹6.02 billion contract from the Railway Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) to undertake construction work for the Uttarakhand rail network.

Ashoka Buildcon has announced that it has secured a ₹6.02 billion contract from Railway Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) to carry out construction work for the Uttarakhand rail network.

The award, announced by RVNL, covers the building of rail infrastructure across Uttarakhand, including tracks, stations and associated civil works. The project is part of RVNL’s broader mandate to develop and upgrade railway corridors in the state.

Ashoka Buildcon, known for its experience in large‑scale rail and highway projects, will be responsible for executing the contract within the timelines set by RVNL. The company has previously handled several rail construction contracts across India.

RVNL, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Railways, is tasked with planning and executing rail development projects. The new contract is expected to boost connectivity and support economic growth in Uttarakhand.

The project is slated to begin in the coming months, with completion expected in line with RVNL’s schedule for the state’s rail infrastructure development.
