Arunachal Rural Livelihoods Mission signs MoUs with 7 agencies for DDU‑GK Y 2.0

The Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) recently signed memoranda of understanding with seven private implementing agencies (PIAs). The MoUs are aimed at implementing the second phase of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU‑GK Y) in Arunachal Pradesh.\n\nDDU‑GK Y 2.0 is a central government scheme that provides skill training and placement assistance to rural youth, linking them with employment opportunities in both the formal and informal sectors. By partnering with the PIAs, ArSRLM intends to expand the reach of the programme across the state's remote districts.\n\nThe agreements will enable the mission to leverage the agencies' operational capacity, ensuring that training modules, certification and job linkage services are delivered efficiently. Officials said the collaboration is expected to broaden skill development opportunities and improve livelihood outcomes for young people in the region.
