Arunachal Pradesh to Miss Ranji and CK Nayudu Trophy Openers Over Administrative Crisis

The Arunachal Pradesh cricket association is currently embroiled in an administrative deadlock, prompting the state team to withdraw from the opening matches of two major domestic tournaments. The Ranji Trophy and the CK Nayudu Trophy, scheduled to commence in the coming weeks, will see Arunachal absent from their first fixtures.
Officials from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have been informed of the situation, and the association’s internal disputes have been cited as the primary reason for the team's non‑participation.
The omission of Arunachal Pradesh from the openers underscores the broader impact of governance issues on the development of cricket in the northeastern region, with stakeholders awaiting a resolution that could allow the team to re‑enter the competitions later in the season.
