Arunachal Pradesh Names IAS Vishal Shah as CEO of HAPDA

The Arunachal Pradesh government announced today that IAS officer Vishal Shah will take over as the Chief Executive Officer of the Hydro and Power Development Authority (HAPDA). HAPDA is responsible for the development and management of hydroelectric projects across the state. The appointment follows a review of the agency’s performance and a strategic plan to boost renewable energy output. Shah will oversee all operational, financial and developmental aspects of HAPDA’s ongoing and future projects.
