Arunachal Pradesh Marks Universal Brotherhood Day for Vivekananda’s Chicago Address

The observance took place across Arunachal Pradesh on September 11, marking the date of Vivekananda’s historic speech at the Chicago Parliament of the World’s Religions. Government offices, schools, colleges and community organisations participated in the day’s events.

Seminars, cultural performances and prayer meetings were held to highlight the spiritual leader’s call for universal brotherhood and harmony among all peoples. Speakers drew parallels between his teachings and the state’s diverse cultural fabric.
