A crisis within Arunachal Pradesh cricket has left its players uncertain about participation as the Ranji Trophy season begins.
A sudden administrative or selection crisis has thrown the Arunachal Pradesh cricket squad into uncertainty just days before the first match of the Ranji Trophy season. Players reported that essential clearances and team confirmations remain unresolved, leaving them unable to prepare fully for the opening fixture.
The disruption threatens the state's ability to field a competitive side, potentially affecting the tournament schedule and the team's standing in the competition. Without a resolved lineup, the team risks forfeiting the match or fielding an under‑strength side.
Cricket officials from the Arunachal Pradesh Cricket Association have acknowledged the issue but have not provided a timeline for resolution. As the Ranji opener approaches, the players remain in a state of limbo, awaiting decisive action from the governing body.
