Arunachal Pradesh administrative reforms panel submits first report to state government

The panel constituted to examine administrative reforms in Arunachal Pradesh has submitted its first comprehensive report to the state government. The document, prepared after months of consultations and data analysis, presents a series of recommendations aimed at streamlining procedures, enhancing transparency and improving service delivery across the state's departments.

Officials from the state secretariat received the report on Monday, and a senior minister indicated that the recommendations would be examined in detail before any policy changes are enacted. The panel's mandate includes reviewing recruitment processes, performance appraisal mechanisms and the use of technology in governance.

While the report is expected to spark discussions within the bureaucracy, the government has not yet disclosed a timeline for implementing the suggested reforms. Stakeholders, including civil servants and civil society groups, have been urged to provide feedback during the forthcoming review period.
