Member of Parliament Tai Tagak raised concerns over inadequate facilities at four higher‑education institutions in Arunachal Pradesh, urging immediate remedial action.
Arunachal Pradesh MP Tai Tagak used a recent forum to draw attention to the poor infrastructure at four higher‑education institutions across the state. He said the campuses suffer from a range of shortcomings that hinder effective teaching and learning.
He pointed out that many classrooms, laboratories and hostel blocks are either insufficient or in a dilapidated condition, and that basic amenities such as reliable internet connectivity are lacking. These gaps, he warned, compromise the quality of education for students in the region.
Tagak appealed to both the state government and central authorities to allocate dedicated funds, fast‑track pending projects and set up a monitoring mechanism to ensure that the required upgrades are completed without delay. He stressed that modern, well‑maintained facilities are essential for the state’s youth to compete nationally and internationally.
The MP concluded by urging stakeholders to treat education infrastructure as a priority in Arunachal Pradesh’s development agenda, noting that improved campuses will also help retain talent and attract new academic programmes.
