The Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh has announced the establishment of two additional medical colleges in the state and the doubling of MBBS seats at TRIHMS to 100.
The Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh announced today that the state will add two more medical colleges to its educational infrastructure. In a statement, he also revealed that the MBBS intake at the existing Tirupati Rural Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) will be increased from 50 to 100 seats. This move is aimed at expanding access to medical education for students across the state and addressing the shortage of healthcare professionals in remote areas. The government plans to finalize the locations and construction timelines for the new colleges within the next six months.
