Document writers under the All India Press (AP) have begun a pen‑down strike across the country to protest the newly issued Government Order 396, demanding better working conditions and fair compensation.
The All India Press (AP) has announced a pen‑down strike that will take effect nationwide on Thursday. The strike is a direct response to Government Order 396, which the writers say imposes new restrictions on their work and reduces their pay. The writers have called for a meeting with the Ministry of Labour to discuss the order’s impact. They also demand a revision of the order to protect their rights and ensure fair remuneration.
