Anthropic’s chief executive Dario Amodei said the company has made several errors in its push to lead the artificial‑intelligence sector and pledged to rectify them.
Dario Amodei, co‑founder and chief executive of Anthropic, a U.S.‑based artificial‑intelligence safety startup, told India Today that the firm has stumbled in its rapid ascent within the fiercely competitive generative‑AI market.
He pointed to a series of missteps, including delayed product rollouts, over‑promising on model capabilities and internal coordination challenges, which he said have slowed Anthropic’s progress compared with rivals such as OpenAI and Google DeepMind.
Amodei said the company is now refocusing on rigorous testing, transparent communication with partners and a phased deployment strategy to restore credibility and deliver reliable AI systems.
