Andhra Pradesh pitches Amaravati as sandbox for India's next tech leap

Andhra Pradesh officials announced that the planned capital city of Amaravati will be positioned as a sandbox for emerging technologies, aiming to catalyse India’s next wave of tech innovation. The proposal envisions the city providing a regulatory and infrastructural test‑bed where new digital, AI, robotics and other advanced solutions can be trialled under supportive policies. State leaders said the initiative is intended to attract investment, create high‑skill jobs and place Andhra Pradesh at the forefront of the country’s technology ecosystem.
