Andhra Pradesh Municipal Elections: Vote Counting Commences Amid HC Clearance in Pulivendula

Vote counting for municipal elections across Andhra Pradesh has begun today, with officials at polling stations reporting to the tallying centers. The High Court had earlier cleared the counting process in the town of Pulivendula, ensuring that the electoral procedure would proceed without legal impediments. The elections, held on an unspecified date, cover over 1,000 municipal bodies across the state, with results expected to shape local governance. Political analysts anticipate a closely contested outcome, with the ruling party and opposition vying for control of key municipal councils.
