The state of Andhra Pradesh has introduced a new crop variety that experts say could significantly increase farmers' earnings.
Andhra Pradesh has rolled out a new crop variety as part of its agricultural development plan, aiming to improve the financial returns for local farmers.
The crop, which is still in the early stages of cultivation, is expected to offer higher market prices and better resilience against climate variability.
Farmers in the state are cautiously optimistic, noting that the new variety could diversify their produce and reduce dependence on traditional staples.
