Doctors in Andhra Pradesh have suspended their industrial action over stipend and retirement age demands following a court intervention.

The medical community in Andhra Pradesh had been on strike, demanding a revision of their stipend and an increase in the retirement age for doctors. The protest, which began earlier this month, disrupted outpatient services in several government hospitals across the state.

A petition filed by the doctors' association reached the High Court, prompting the bench to issue an interim order directing the state health department to address the grievances. The court's intervention created a window for negotiations between the authorities and the striking doctors.

Following the judicial directive, the doctors announced the suspension of their strike, stating that they would resume talks with the government to seek a permanent resolution. Health officials welcomed the development, noting that normal services would gradually be restored to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
