The Andhra Pradesh chief minister announced a new initiative aimed at providing deep‑technology training to boost employability among the state’s youth.
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh unveiled a deep‑technology skilling programme in a press briefing, calling it a strategic step to align the state’s workforce with emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, robotics and data analytics.
The initiative will establish training centres in multiple districts, forge partnerships with leading tech firms and academic institutions, and target fresh graduates and job‑seekers with subsidised courses and industry‑recognised certifications.
State officials said the scheme is designed to generate thousands of skilled jobs and attract technology investment, with significant funding earmarked by the government to ensure its rollout.
Implementation will be overseen by the Department of Skill Development and will commence in phases from the upcoming quarter.
