The Andhra Pradesh government has revised the Milad-un-Nabi holiday, affecting students and employees across the state.

The Andhra Pradesh government issued an official notice altering the observance of Milad-un-Nabi for the current academic and fiscal year. The revision applies to all government‑run schools, colleges and offices within the state.

According to the circular, institutions are required to follow the newly announced date for the holiday and adjust their calendars accordingly. The change is intended to bring the observance in line with the state’s official holiday schedule and to ensure uniformity for students, teachers and government employees.

Authorities have asked educational bodies and workplaces to disseminate the updated information to staff and learners promptly, and to make any necessary adjustments to timetables, examinations or work plans.
