The Amritsar Bar Association has scheduled its next election for September 11, inviting members to vote for new office‑bearers.
Amritsar, Punjab – The Amritsar Bar Association announced that its forthcoming election will be conducted on 11 September. The poll will determine the association’s leadership for the upcoming term, including the president, vice‑president and other office‑bearers.
All registered advocates in the Amritsar district are eligible to cast their votes, either in person at the association’s headquarters or through a designated electronic voting system, as per the association’s guidelines.
The election comes at a time when the legal community is focusing on issues such as court modernization, lawyer welfare and continuing legal education. Candidates are expected to present their agendas during the scheduled pre‑poll meetings.
