Amit Shah Unveils Rs 1,941 Crore Delhi Road Projects

Prime Minister Amit Shah today inaugurated a series of road development projects in Delhi, worth a total of Rs 1,941 crore, aimed at improving connectivity and reducing traffic congestion.
In a ceremony held at the Delhi High Court, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a comprehensive road development plan for the national capital. The initiative includes widening of major arteries, construction of flyovers, and resurfacing of key routes across the city.
The projects are expected to boost economic activity by improving traffic flow and reducing travel times for commuters and freight operators.
The government has earmarked Rs 1,941 crore for the initiative, which will be executed over the next three years with the help of the Delhi Municipal Corporation and the National Highways Authority of India.
Shah emphasized that the projects will create jobs, enhance road safety, and support Delhi’s long‑term development goals, thanking local authorities for their cooperation.
