Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Bhopal for a 23‑hour visit, attending a gathering of over 35,000 dairy farmers and inaugurating an exhibition on recent legislation.
Amit Shah, Union Minister for Home Affairs and Co-operatives, is scheduled to land in Bhopal late Friday night, commencing a roughly 23‑hour official tour of the state. His itinerary includes participation in several sector‑specific events before departing the next day.
The minister will join the Gopalkon conference at the BHEL Dashahara ground, where more than 35,000 dairy farmers and co‑operative members are expected to gather. The forum aims to discuss issues ranging from milk procurement to market reforms, providing a platform for stakeholders to interact directly with the central government.
During the visit, Shah will also preside over the inauguration of an exhibition showcasing recently enacted laws affecting dairy, co‑operative, police and higher‑education sectors. The display is intended to inform the public and industry players about regulatory changes and implementation timelines.
Security arrangements are being overseen by local police, and officials anticipate that the minister’s presence will reinforce government initiatives in agriculture and education across Madhya Pradesh.
