Students at Alwar's ESIC Medical College and Hospital staged a sit‑in and blocked the main entrance on Monday, demanding transparent use of the student welfare fund and other pending grievances.
On Monday, students of the ESIC Medical College and Hospital in Alwar occupied the main gate of the campus, turning it into a protest site.
The demonstrators cited the opaque handling of the student welfare fund as the primary grievance, along with several other unresolved demands that have been pending for months.
The protest took the form of a sit‑in, with students refusing to leave the premises until their concerns were addressed. The college dean was present but did not respond to the demands.
College officials have promised a meeting with the student representatives to discuss the issues, but no concrete resolution has been announced yet.
