Alwar Devotees Gather in Sawan for Mahadev Ablution, Chanting "Har Har Mahadev"

Alwar witnessed a significant religious gathering on Tuesday as devotees flocked to the city’s temples during the auspicious month of Sawan. Many pilgrims arrived from distant areas carrying kanda, a traditional drum, to participate in the abhishek ceremony dedicated to Lord Mahadev.

The abhishek, a ritual bathing of the deity’s idol, was conducted with reverence and marked by the rhythmic beats of the kanda. Devotees offered water and other symbolic items while chanting hymns and mantras.

The temple premises were filled with the sound of "Har Har Mahadev" and "Bomb Bomb Bhole," echoing through the corridors and courtyard. The collective chants reflected the fervor and devotion of the crowd.

Local temple authorities reported that the event attracted thousands of worshippers, creating a vibrant atmosphere of faith and community participation. The ceremony concluded with a communal distribution of prasadam to the devotees.
