The latest installment of the Drishyam franchise opened with a staggering worldwide gross of ₹95 crore on its first day. This marks Ajay Devgn's biggest opening ever, surpassing all previous records.
Ajay Devgn’s third film in the Drishyam series, Drishyam 3, opened on Friday to a worldwide gross of ₹95 crore, according to Box Office India.
The film’s opening surpassed the first‑day collection of Drishyam 2, which earned ₹73 crore, and positioned Devgn as the highest‑grossing actor in the franchise.
Domestic earnings accounted for ₹60 crore, with ₹35 crore coming from overseas markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, and Gulf countries.
Industry analysts say the strong opening is driven by Devgn’s established fan base and the franchise’s proven track record, with expectations that the film will become one of the highest‑grossing Indian releases of the year.
