Air India Launches Non‑Stop Delhi‑Toronto Flights on Aug 1 Using New Boeing 787‑9

Air India has announced that it will commence non‑stop services between Delhi and Toronto from 1 August 2024. The carrier will use its newest Boeing 787‑9 aircraft for the route, which will reduce travel time and improve passenger comfort. The new aircraft, which entered service earlier this year, offers advanced fuel efficiency and a larger cabin space. The Delhi‑Toronto route, previously served by a one‑stop flight via New York, will now provide a direct link for business and leisure travelers. Air India said the move is part of its strategy to expand long‑haul connectivity and compete with other international carriers.
