Air India Flight AI-2030 Diverted to Jaipur After Hijack Alert

Air India flight AI-2030, scheduled to depart from Frankfurt and land in Delhi, was diverted to Jaipur early on Wednesday morning after the aircraft’s onboard system generated a hijack alert. The alert prompted the flight crew to seek an alternate landing site, and the aircraft was redirected to Jaipur airport. Air traffic control in Ahmedabad briefly received a squawk 7500 signal, the code used for hijack situations, for a few seconds before the alert was cleared. The diversion was carried out without incident, and passengers were safely transferred to the alternate airport. Authorities are investigating the cause of the alert and will release further details once the inquiry is complete.
