Bihar's Chief Minister has assured AIIMS Patna of 24 acres of additional land for expansion, alongside directives for 200 new beds and a skin bank.
AIIMS Patna is set for a significant expansion, with the institution likely to receive an additional 24 acres of land. This assurance was given by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary during his inspection of the hospital premises.
The expansion plan also includes the addition of 200 new beds to enhance patient capacity. Furthermore, directives were issued for the establishment of a skin bank, which will be crucial for treating burn patients. The development aims to bolster healthcare infrastructure in the region.
In addition to the medical facilities, the project encompasses improved connectivity with the announcement of a 4-lane road connecting AIIMS to Nathupur. These initiatives are expected to significantly upgrade the services and accessibility of the premier medical institute.
