Nepal is grappling with the aftermath of recent floods as authorities coordinate relief and recovery measures across the affected regions.
The Himalayan nation is currently addressing the consequences of heavy rainfall that triggered widespread flooding in several districts. Local and central government agencies have mobilised emergency response teams to assess damage, provide essential supplies and restore basic services.
Relief operations include the distribution of food, clean water and temporary shelter to displaced families, while health officials monitor the risk of water‑borne diseases.
International partners and non‑governmental organisations have pledged assistance, and coordination meetings are being held to streamline aid delivery and plan longer‑term rehabilitation of the flood‑hit communities.
