ADNOC has signed an agreement to supply liquefied natural gas to Gujarat Energy, enhancing India's LNG imports.

ADNOC, the United Arab Emirates' state‑owned oil and gas company, has signed a new agreement to provide liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Gujarat Energy, a leading energy firm operating in western India.
The deal, announced recently, will add to India's expanding LNG import portfolio as the country works to diversify its fuel mix and meet rising demand for cleaner energy. Specific volumes and pricing were not disclosed, but the partnership is expected to reinforce Gujarat's gas infrastructure and support industrial and power‑generation projects.
The agreement underscores the deepening energy ties between the UAE and India, following several recent contracts in oil, petrochemicals and renewables. Analysts note that reliable LNG supplies are crucial for India's energy security and its climate‑related goals.
