Actor Aditya Roy Kapur was reportedly heavily intoxicated on the set of the upcoming film Aashiqui 2, forcing the crew to suspend filming for the day.
Mumbai – According to Mid‑Day, actor Aditya Roy Kapur arrived on the Aashiqui 2 set visibly inebriated, prompting the director and production team to call off the day's shoot. The incident occurred during a scheduled sequence that required the lead actors to perform together, but Kapur’s condition made it unsafe to continue.
The crew halted all activity while the set was secured, and the production schedule was adjusted to accommodate the unexpected delay. No official statement from the film’s producers has been released, but sources indicate that the incident will be addressed internally to prevent further disruptions.
Aashiqui 2, a highly anticipated romantic drama, is slated for release later this year. The production team has assured fans that filming will resume after the matter is resolved, and that the incident does not affect the overall timeline of the movie.
