Veteran actor Vijay Sethupathi has been selected to represent India as a presenter at the 2026 International Emmy Awards in New York.
Vijay Sethupathi, a veteran actor known for his versatile roles in Tamil cinema, will serve as India's representative and presenter at the 2026 International Emmy Awards scheduled to be held in New York City.
The International Emmy Awards, organized by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, honor excellence in television programming produced outside the United States. Sethupathi's appointment marks the first time a South Indian actor has been given a presenting role at the ceremony.
Industry observers say his selection underscores the growing global reach of Indian content and the increasing visibility of regional talent on international platforms.
