Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan pauses political duties to focus on film shoot
Pawan Kalyan has announced a temporary break from his political responsibilities to concentrate on his upcoming movie filming.
Pawan Kalyan, the well‑known film star and leader of the Jana Sena Party, has announced that he will step back from active political engagements to focus on shooting his next movie. The decision, described as a short‑term pause, is intended to allow him to devote full attention to the film’s production schedule.
Party officials confirmed that senior members will oversee routine political activities during his absence, ensuring that the party’s operations continue uninterrupted. Kalyan emphasized that his commitment to both cinema and politics remains unchanged, and he will resume political work once the filming is completed.
The announcement comes as the Jana Sena Party continues its outreach across the state, but Kalyan’s temporary withdrawal underscores the dual roles he balances as an actor and a politician.
