ACME Solar has secured financing of Rs 1,571 crore to develop a 300‑megawatt solar power plant in Rajasthan, according to Business Standard.
ACME Solar, a renewable energy developer, announced that it has obtained funding of Rs 1,571 crore for a 300 MW solar power project in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The capital will be used to develop, construct and commission the plant, adding significant clean‑energy capacity to the regional grid.
The financing aligns with India’s push to reach 450 GW of renewable capacity by 2030, and Rajasthan’s high solar irradiance makes it a prime location for large‑scale solar installations. The new venture is expected to rank among the larger private‑sector projects in the state.
