The Aam Aadmi Party announced that it will release its initial slate of candidates for the 2027 Punjab Legislative Assembly poll tomorrow.
AAP confirmed that the first batch of candidates for the upcoming 2027 Punjab Legislative Assembly election will be announced tomorrow, according to a statement reported by The Indian Express.
The party, which currently governs Punjab, is expected to field candidates across most constituencies, though the exact number and names have not been disclosed.
The announcement comes as political parties gear up for the next electoral cycle, with the Punjab Election Commission slated to schedule the poll later this year. Analysts say the early release of a candidate list could shape campaign strategies.
No further details have been provided, and the party has said it will communicate the full list through its official channels on the day of the release.
