New Delhi – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) confirmed that it will contest the Goa Legislative Assembly elections in partnership with the regional Goa Forward Party (GFP). The two parties said the alliance will be formalised ahead of the poll schedule, aiming to combine AAP's anti‑corruption platform with GFP's local influence.
Sources close to the negotiations indicated that the coalition will field joint candidates in several constituencies, while the Congress party has not been offered a seat-sharing arrangement.
