The Aam Aadmi Party’s Party Advisory Committee (PAC) held a meeting in Delhi on Thursday to review and finalise the list of candidates for the forthcoming Punjab elections.
Party leaders and senior strategists discussed potential nominees, weighing factors such as local support, experience, and electoral viability. The committee’s deliberations aimed to ensure a balanced slate that could appeal to the diverse electorate of Punjab.
According to party sources, the PAC will publish the approved candidate list tomorrow, after completing its internal review. The announcement is expected to set the stage for the party’s campaign strategy across the state.
The meeting underscored AAP’s intent to field a strong and credible team in Punjab, following its recent expansion efforts beyond Delhi. The party has been working to build a robust grassroots presence in the state ahead of the elections.
Observers note that the timing of the announcement aligns with the party’s broader electoral calendar, as it seeks to consolidate support in key constituencies.
