The Aam Aadmi Party and Goa Forward Party have officially announced a pre‑poll alliance ahead of the 2027 Goa Legislative Assembly elections.
New Delhi – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Goa Forward Party (GFP) disclosed today that they will contest the 2027 Goa Legislative Assembly polls as a united front. The announcement was made through a joint press statement released in New Delhi, confirming that both parties have entered into a pre‑poll alliance.
The partnership brings together AAP, a national party with a growing presence in several states, and GFP, a regional outfit that has carved out a niche in Goan politics. While neither party disclosed detailed seat‑sharing arrangements, they indicated that the alliance aims to offer voters an alternative to the incumbent government.
Both leaders said the collaboration will be formalised in the coming weeks, with joint rallies and a coordinated campaign strategy planned for the state. The alliance will be monitored closely as the 2027 election calendar takes shape, and political analysts expect it to influence the dynamics of the upcoming contest in Goa.
