Approximately 9,000 devotees commenced their journey from Nagrota in Jammu on Saturday for the annual Mata Kheer Bhawani Mela and other associated religious processions.
A significant congregation of around 9,000 pilgrims departed from Nagrota, Jammu, on Saturday to participate in the annual Mata Kheer Bhawani Mela. The devotees travelled in approximately 200 buses, embarking on their spiritual journey.
The pilgrimage is not limited to the Mata Kheer Bhawani Mela; the pilgrims are also heading to other significant religious sites. These include yatras to Tikker in Kupwara, Logripora in Anantnag, and Devsar and Manzgam in Kulgam districts.
The departure was conducted amidst tight security arrangements, underscoring the importance and scale of the annual religious event.
