The 90‑year‑old Pooni Devi and her 89‑year‑old husband Dargram Prajapat, who had been married for over 64 years, died within 90 minutes of each other in Bhavrani village, Jalore district.
An elderly couple from Bhavrani, a village in Jalore district of Rajasthan, breathed their last within a span of just ninety minutes. Pooni Devi, aged 90, passed away first, followed shortly by her 89‑year‑old husband Dargram Prajapat. Both had been together for 64 years, 4 months and 26 days, a partnership that spanned more than six decades.
According to local sources, the wife died peacefully at her home. Within approximately one and a half hours, her husband, who was reportedly in fragile health, also succumbed. The close timing of their deaths has been described by neighbours as a poignant illustration of their lifelong bond.
