The Rajasthan government has transferred 57 additional senior police officers, assigning them new duties in the Jaipur commissionerate, Special Operations Group, CID‑CB, and several districts.
Rajasthan's state administration announced a sweeping reshuffle of its police hierarchy, moving 57 additional superintendents of police (ASP) to fresh postings. The transfers were disclosed in an official circular issued by the Home Department.
The reassignment covers key formations such as the Jaipur commissionerate, the Special Operations Group (SOG), the Crime Investigation Department – Crime Branch (CID‑CB), the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC), the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and a number of district police units.
According to the statement, the objective is to bolster law‑and‑order capabilities, improve coordination among specialized units and streamline command structures across the state police force.
The changes are part of a broader strategy by the Rajasthan government to address emerging security challenges and enhance operational efficiency.
All transferred officers are expected to assume their new responsibilities immediately, with formal hand‑over procedures to be completed in the coming days.
