Around 300 police personnel will be posted inside and around a college campus in Alwar on September 14 to oversee the municipal election, with strict monitoring of entry and exit routes.
Alwar’s municipal corporation has scheduled its voting for September 14. To safeguard the process, the administration has arranged for roughly three hundred police officers to be on duty both inside and around the college premises that will serve as the polling venue.
The deployment includes continuous surveillance of all entry and exit points. Police teams will regulate the movement of candidates, their supporters and any other voters, ensuring that crowd flow remains orderly and that any potential disturbances are nipped in the bud.
Officials said the extensive security presence is intended to guarantee a peaceful and transparent election, allowing residents to cast their votes without fear of intimidation or disruption.
