21-Year-Old Drowns in Gandak River Near Panaur, Bihar

A 21‑year‑old man named Rajkumar drowned in the Gandak River near Sarangpur Dak Bangla Ghat, Panaur, after slipping while using the toilet. Search and rescue teams are still looking for him.
At around 10 a.m. on Monday, Rajkumar, a 21‑year‑old resident of Panaur, slipped while using the toilet at Sarangpur Dak Bangla Ghat on the banks of the Gandak River. He fell into the water and was swept away by the strong current, disappearing from view. Local villagers attempted to rescue him, but the effort was unsuccessful.
The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was called to the scene and is conducting a search operation along the riverbank. Authorities have cordoned off the area and are coordinating with local police to locate the missing man.
